Il a dirig\u00e9 le long de sa carri\u00e8re de nombreuses formations orchestrales et vocales (le Ch\u0153ur et la Ma\u00eetrise de de Radio France, l\u2019Orchestre philharmonique de Radio France, l\u2019Orchestre national de Lorraine, l\u2019Orchestre philharmonique de Marseille, l\u2019Orchestre r\u00e9gional d\u2019Avignon, l\u2019Orchestre r\u00e9gional de Cannes, le National Choir of Ireland, le Nederlands Kamerkoor,\u2026) et collabor\u00e9 avec les percussions de Strasbourg, Musique Vivante, Musique Oblique, 2e2m, TM+, l\u2019ensemble Itin\u00e9raire\u2026.<\/p><p>Avec Musicatreize l\u2019axe central reste le travail avec les compositeurs d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui : Edith Canat de Chizy, Zad Moultaka, Oscar Strasnoy, Michel Petrossian, Philippe Schoeller, Alexandros Markeas, \u2026 Le nom de Roland Hayrabedian est tr\u00e8s li\u00e9 \u00e0 celui de Maurice Ohana, compositeur dont il est un des plus fid\u00e8les interpr\u00e8tes et dont il a enregistr\u00e9 la presque totalit\u00e9 de l\u2019\u0153uvre vocale.<\/p><p>Attir\u00e9 par la musique de sc\u00e8ne, il collabore avec de nombreux metteurs en sc\u00e8ne et chor\u00e9graphes comme r\u00e9cemment Jeanne Debost, Thierry Thieu Niang, Sybille Wilson, Philippe Carbonneaux\u2026 De 2002 \u00e0 2005, il occupe le poste de directeur musical de l\u2019Orchestre des Jeunes de la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e. En 2010 et 2011 il prend part \u00e0 l\u2019Acad\u00e9mie vocale contemporaine du Festival d\u2019Aix-en-Provence. Il compte plus de 30 disques sous sa direction musicale dont plusieurs ont obtenu des distinctions exceptionnelles. L\u2019ensemble depuis ce jour d\u00e9fend le r\u00e9pertoire du XXe si\u00e8cle, augmente et diversifie ce r\u00e9pertoire par de nouvelles oeuvres, confronte les \u00e9poques et les esth\u00e9tiques et a \u00e9tabli dans le sud de la France un outil privil\u00e9gi\u00e9 de cr\u00e9ation musicale.<\/p><p>Ensemble \u00e0 g\u00e9om\u00e9trie variable, Musicatreize explore l\u2019univers vocal sous toutes ses formes, de 12 voix a cappella aux \u0153uvres pour ch\u0153ur et orchestre en passant par le th\u00e9\u00e2tre musical. La mise en regard des esth\u00e9tiques permet de trouver les liens entre Roland de Lassus (Prophetiae Sibyllarum) et Maurice Ohana (Office des oracles), Franz Schubert (Gesang der Geister \u00fcber den Wassern) et Michel Petrossian (Amours sidoniennes) ou encore Cl\u00e9ment Janequin (Il estoit une fillette) et Philippe Schoeller (Eros-One) ou R\u00e9gis Campo (Secouez-moi).<\/p><p>Se refusant \u00e0 toute chapelle esth\u00e9tique, Musicatreize sert la cr\u00e9ation musicale dans ce qu\u2019elle a de plus intrins\u00e8quement sensible et original avec le d\u00e9sir de mettre en avant un esprit m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en. Avec plus de 300 oeuvres nouvelles, le plus souvent organis\u00e9es en cycles (Les Berceuses, Les Sept contes, Odyss\u00e9es dans l\u2019espace, Voix Prioritaire, Trois Cantates polici\u00e8res, Les Douze lettres \u00e0 Elise) et toujours accompagn\u00e9es d\u2019actions parall\u00e8les, Musicatreize a ainsi pu tisser une lien solide avec ses publics.<\/p><p>En 2007 Musicatreize obtient une Victoire de la Musique Classique \u2013 cat\u00e9gorie Ensemble de l\u2019Ann\u00e9e.
