C\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9 par la presse pour un jeu d\u2019une extraordinaire sensibilit\u00e9 et d\u2019une virtuosit\u00e9 \u00e9blouissante ainsi qu\u2019une complicit\u00e9 presque t\u00e9l\u00e9pathique, le Trio Wanderer<\/strong> est devenu au fil des ans une formation incontournable de la sc\u00e8ne musicale internationale. Ils ont choisi le voyage comme embl\u00e8me, celui, int\u00e9rieur, qui les lie \u00e9troitement \u00e0 Schubert et au romantisme allemand et celui, ouvert et curieux, qui explore le r\u00e9pertoire de Haydn \u00e0 la musique d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui.<\/span><\/p>

Laur\u00e9at du Conservatoire National Sup\u00e9rieur de Musique de Paris et form\u00e9 aupr\u00e8s de grands ma\u00eetres comme Jean-Claude Pennetier, Jean Hubeau, Menahem Pressler du Beaux-Arts Trio et les membres du Quatuor Amadeus, il remporte le concours ARD de M\u00fcnich en 1988. A leurs d\u00e9buts, les membres du Trio Wanderer<\/b> suivent les master-classes de musique de chambre du Festival de la Roque d\u2019Anth\u00e9ron, master-classes qu\u2019ils animent aujourd\u2019hui depuis plus de dix ans comme professeurs.<\/span><\/p>

Dans le r\u00e9pertoire des triples concertos, le Trio Wanderer a collabor\u00e9 \u00e0 plus de cent reprises avec des orchestres internationaux, l\u2019Orchestre National de France, l\u2019Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio-France, les orchestres de Toulouse, Nice, Pays de Loire, Picardie, Pau-Pays de B\u00e9arn, Montpellier, Li\u00e8ge, Teneriffe, Santiago de Chile, La Coruna, le Radio Symphonie Orchester de Berlin, le Malaysian Philharmonia Orchestra, la W\u00fcrttembergische Philharmonie, l\u2019Orquesta Sinf\u00f3nica de Miner\u00eda, le Sinfonia Varsovia, le Grazer Philharmoniker Orchester, le N\u00fcrnberger Philharmoniker, l\u2019Orchestre Philharmonique National de Moscou, le Stockholm Chamber Orchestra, l\u2019Orchestre de Chambre de Gen\u00e8ve, l\u2019Orchestre Philharmonique de l\u2019Oural, l\u2019Orchestre de Chambre de Paris et sous la direction de Yehudi Menuhin, Christopher Hogwood, James Loughran, Fran\u00e7ois-Xavier Roth, Luis Langr\u00e9e, Arie van Beek, Marco Guidarini, Ken-David Masur, Ion Marin, Jos\u00e9 Are\u00e1n, Charles Dutoit et James Conlon\u2026.<\/span><\/p>

Outre des disques pour Sony Classical, Universal, Cypr\u00e8s, Mirare et Capriccio, le Trio Wanderer entame en 1999 sa collaboration avec Harmonia Mundi. Vingt enregistrements ont \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9s depuis : les Trios de Chausson, Ravel, Haydn, Chostakovitch, Faur\u00e9, Piern\u00e9, Arensky, Tcha\u00efkovski, Copland, Saint-Sa\u00ebns, Mendelssohn, Smetana, les int\u00e9grales des Trios de Schubert, Brahms et Beethoven, les Quintettes avec piano de Schubert et de Hummel, les Triples Concertos de Beethoven et de Martin\u00f9 avec le G\u00fcrzenich-K\u00f6lner Philharmoniker, et des \u0153uvres de Liszt et Messiaen.<\/span><\/p>

Ces enregistrements ont \u00e9t\u00e9 maintes fois distingu\u00e9s par la critique : Choc de l\u2019Ann\u00e9e du Monde de la Musique, Editor Choice de Gramophone, CD des Monat de Fono Forum, CD of the Month de BBC Music Magazine, Diapason d\u2019Or de l\u2019Ann\u00e9e, Midem Classical Award. Leur interpr\u00e9tation des trios de Mendelssohn a \u00e9t\u00e9 choisie comme r\u00e9f\u00e9rence par le New-York Times \u00e0 l\u2019occasion du bi-centenaire de la naissance du compositeur, ainsi que celle du Trio opus 100 de Schubert en 2016 par la BBC, parmi les 14 versions propos\u00e9es.<\/span><\/p>

Le Trio Wanderer a fait r\u00e9cemment para\u00eetre un album consacr\u00e9 aux int\u00e9grales des Trios de Schumann (Harmonia Mundi, 2021) : trios op. 63, 80 & 110, Phantasiest\u00fccke op. 88, Quatuor avec piano op. 47, Quintette avec piano op. 44, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 couronn\u00e9 d\u2019un Diapason d\u2019or et d\u2019un CHOC de Classica. Leur dernier disque consacr\u00e9 aux trio et quintette de C\u00e9sar Franck a remport\u00e9 un Diapason d\u2019OR, salu\u00e9 \u00e9galement par The Strad et Pizzicato.<\/span><\/p>

Passionn\u00e9 de musique contemporaine, le Trio Wanderer a cr\u00e9\u00e9 de \u0153uvres de Thierry Escaich, Bruno Mantovani Frank Michael Beyer, Christian Rivet, Matteo Francescini, Philippe Hersant \u2026.<\/span><\/p>

Un film documentaire lui a \u00e9t\u00e9 consacr\u00e9 en 2003 par la cha\u00eene franco-allemande ARTE. En 2017, un livre d\u2019Olivier Bellamy, \u2018Trio Wanderer, 30 ans, le bel Age\u2019, retra\u00e7ant la carri\u00e8re du trio parait aux \u00e9ditions Art3.<\/span><\/p>

Le Trio Wanderer a \u00e9t\u00e9 distingu\u00e9 par les Victoires de la musique \u00e0 trois reprises comme meilleur ensemble instrumental de l\u2019ann\u00e9e.<\/span><\/p>

En 2014 Jean-Marc Phillips-Varjab\u00e9dian et Rapha\u00ebl Pidoux sont nomm\u00e9s professeurs de violon et de violoncelle au Conservatoire national sup\u00e9rieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, et Vincent Coq enseigne la musique de chambre \u00e0 la Haute \u00c9cole de musique de Lausanne depuis 2010.<\/span><\/p>

En 2015, les membres du Trio Wanderer ont \u00e9t\u00e9 promus au grade de Chevalier de l\u2019ordre des arts et lettres.<\/span><\/p>

Jean-Marc Phillips-Varjab\u00e9dian joue sur un violon de Charles Coquet (Paris \u2013 2014) et sur un Gand P\u00e8re (Paris \u2013 1840, pr\u00eat\u00e9 par Mr Nicolas Dufourcq), et Rapha\u00ebl Pidoux joue sur un violoncelle de Gioffredo CAPPA (Saluzzo 1680).<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
